Soccer!

It's that time of year again: soccer season. 

I didn't play soccer in the fall (long story short, annoying players, annoying coaches, extremely competitive high school) so the last time I played soccer for a real team was...a year ago. 

Yikes.

This is me all winter

I'm excited, but somewhat nervous. I haven't done anything ALL winter so I'm completely out of shape. I'm afraid I may be the slowest person on the team (My dad says otherwise, but a girl can wonder). Anywho, also this is the last season I get to play with my older sister, Sam, before she leaves for college in the fall. My dad's like "Cherish it!" Meanwhile I'm still worrying about being the slowest player.

This is me now...only that's how fast I'd actually be running not in slow-mo

I hope we just play games tomorrow or something to kind of 'get back in the soccer mode'. Shoot, I need to go find my cleats...

Anywho! I found them...in my soccer bag...that hasn't been touched in about a year...oh gosh it probably reeks like heck in there... *shivers*. Anyone who plays soccer, or any sport for that matter, knows that equipment gets smelly, and I mean REALLY smelly!

So wish me luck that I don't die at our first practice tomorrow (although I get the sneaky feeling that I probably will). If I do die, the funeral is to be Thursday at noon. Please attend if you can :)
